Interns & Volunteers

Programs & Education

Augusta Locally Grown is literally built from the ground up by volunteers.

From our Board of Directors to our Junior Market Managers, tens of thousands of volunteer hours have been given by hundreds of volunteers to build a better local food system throughout the CSRA.

The opportunities to pitch in are boundless.

We make every effort to match your interests to projects that make the best use of your talents, interests and goals.

Like, maybe, washing and trimming the hooves of a wooly goat at a fiber farm …

High School students may apply for competitive, paid, semester-long internships three times per year: fall, spring and summer. They help run our farmers markets and educational programs. Click here for more information.

High School students may also request to do their senior year project with Augusta Locally Grown. This is unpaid and arranged in the fall for up to four local seniors. Click here for more information.

College students may apply for unpaid internships in an academic area of interest to them, often within their major, that also serves the foods movement. Click here for more information.

Post graduate students & professionals may are invited to create internship opportunities for themselves within the local foods system. We highly encourage your project to include a research component. Click here for more information.
