Well here’s one for the memory book!!!! Amy and Patrick Sutter of White Hills Farm have been invited to feature local meats from local farmers at ESPN’s Game Day event at the Atlanta Falcon’s new stadium on Saturday, Sept 2. They’ll be grilling, smoking and serving their homegrown carnivorous tidbits for about 60 ESPN staff – on television! – from 8am-12noon that day, tailgate style, before the FSU/Alabama game. Look for “pastrami paninis” made with Tink’s Beef, “classic pulled pork” from Savannah River Farm, “grilled veggies” from Clyde’s Fresh Produce, and “bacon explosion” using jalapeno peppers grown at White Hills Farm. Proceeds benefit Augusta Locally Grown.
You can’t make this stuff up, folks! But you can chow it down 🙂
