LATE SEASON MUSCADINE PRUNING, A WORKSHOP
Jerry Larson — a retired UGA extension agent and a truly gifted master fruit tree pruner — is at it again! This time he’ll host a late-season muscadine pruning workshop on June 27, 1pm-3pm, at Bridges of Hope in Louisville, GA. These gorgeous grape vines have been made open for gleaning in Augusta-September, with the hundreds of pounds of fruit being donated to Masters Table Soup Kitchen and Icebox Urban Farm for educational classes. If you’re hoping to learn muscadine pruning from THE BEST this summer, and/or if you’re interested in joining our gleaning team for the future, please attend this free workshop. This is a wonderful learning opportunity for start-up farmers.
Since this is private property, we will be in contact with those who sign up (several days prior to the event) with the address and directions.
Registration may be required.
