Make & Take Plant-Centered Cooking Class: Potato Leek Soup

Urban gardening educator Emily Martin will teach a spring series of basic plant-based cooking classes for those who want to add many more vegetables to their diets. Participants will make and take home a meal that they can serve to their family. Each meal-making class will feature a different seasonal vegetable, many of them harvested right from the teaching gardens at Icebox Urban Farm. All recipes are designed to be simple and affordable.

This series of classes is free for residents of Harrisburg as well as participants in our SNAP ED program. A donation of $3 is requested of others.
